Note: If you do not like what I say about you blog, comment, and I will take it down asap. Any rude comments flaming or making fun of other blogs will be deleted, and that person will find their IEP address blocked. Also, these predictions do not necessarily match who I’m going to vote for. Bias will be present, as I know some blogs better then others. We all understand? Good.
Predicted Winner: No prediction.
This is an interesting match-up. First off, can I say I love the title “A Product Of Wasted Time”? His/Her (Hah! Now I won’t get it wrong) captions also made me laugh. “While A Product Of Wasted Time” talks about a few animes, the blog mostly covers manga. He/She self describes as it being a simple summery blog. Chaos Angent appears to be an anime blog focusing on reviews. Right now he’s in the midst of impressions for anime airing this season. His writing style doesn’t really work for me. It reads as a difficult to understand research paper that I spend too much time trying to understand what exactly is being said to enjoy reading it. I bet a lot of people really enjoy that type of writing. In the end, it comes down to a manga blog vs. anime blog, and I really have no idea which will win between the two.
Predicted Winner: JPHinano
No, JPHinano is not the blog’s name, but I’m not going to even try to write those Japanese characters. These guys are old, a now married couple who runs a blog covering anime, manga, drama and more. I honestly quite like this blog, although Hinano confuses me. She dislikes new anime, and openly expresses her dislike for new anime, yet she still watches and blogs about it. However, she’s incredibly funny. I also enjoy JP’s feature, “What I was Forced to Watch This Week” where he has ended up watching some of the most awful anime. I dunno if that’s love, or enjoyment of pain. Most of JP’s other industry posts go over my head though, as he’s very intelligent. Next to them, Caraniel is a nice episodic blog, but looks very bland. Nice to have someone remind me of my chances. I do get a chance to vent one of my personal annoyances with episodic posts—why would I read the entry if I hadn’t watched the episode already? I don’t want to know what happened, I want to know what you think. So, insert x episodic blogger here, you don’t need to give me a long summery. If you must summarize, I have the urge to myself, keep it short and sweet, rather then do a full out play by play. Please. But rather, I’d like to hear what you thought about what happened—bring up what happened so I know what you’re talking about—but otherwise, no need to summarize.
