Kaichou wa Maid-Sama 02-First impressions prove wrong.

While I don’t plan to blog this every week, I did want to make a post to say I thought the second episode was much then the first. With the introduction stuff out of the way, the episode didn’t feel forced, but as if could be what it wanted to be. The overall effect was something that was pretty amusing and a lot of fun.

Why do they have to be cute?

I still have no idea why Misaki chose to go to a school that’s mostly boys if she hates them. I hope the series explains it soon, as its one troublesome kink in the story.

Still, she felt like a much more balanced character in this show, and not some crazy femnazi. Especially as she realized in this episode that she’s doing isn’t working. I doubt she’s going to relent on the guys, but probably this series is going to move with her being fairer to the boys, and finding a way to balance things between being fair to the girls and the guys.

Seeing the guys dressed up in various outfits this episode was pretty cool. They looked so sexy, and like they were having so much fun. The portrayal of the maid café in this episode made it look fun as well. I want to work in a maid café now.

Usui explained this in the first episode. This school has lower tuition, and Misaki can’t afford a more expensive school.
