I just realized that I haven’t put up a memory quilt patch in forever, and had actually forgotten about it. Fail on my part. I think from now on, considering the time it takes me to make them, I’m just going to put them up as soon as I finish them.
Anyway, Jubei-chan the Ninja Girl
Jubei-chan is honestly a series that takes patience I think, to enjoy and appreciate. It starts off as a magical girl show that makes fun of magical girl shows, with many outrageous characters and honestly funny moments. Near the end of this 13 episode series, it takes an emotional turn, focusing on the relationship between the girl and her father. I love series that manage to mix the emotional and the funny, and while it wasn’t the best execution of this combo, it was still pretty good.
Jubei-chan the Ninja Girl was also the first boxset I ever bought, finding it on sale at Gamestop, thus is has a special place in my heart.
No, I have not seen the second season.
