Now, before I go further, I will concede that this show is not the most original amazingly awesome anime ever, but oh my goodness, it’s funny as heck.
The show starts off on a light hearted note, and pretty much carries that out for the rest of the episode, providing plenty of jokes. My only complaint is I almost wish they’d gone farther. The jokes were funny, and I laughed, so why weren’t there more?
The art, for the most part, is nothing special. The character designs are mostly generic, although fitting. However, the animations do different techniques, and try to spice things up, rather then stick in only one style, which helped keep my interest in the episode when there wasn’t a lot of action in the scenes.
The biggest shocker of all, was that the battles were actually kinda cool. It’s in no way logical, but if you go along with it, it’s interesting. Also, the summons was pretty adorable.
From something I was expecting to be a so-so, I was pleasantly surprised. I hope that it continues it’s light hearted tone, and sense of humor.
